The China-US Medical Foundation was established in 2002 by ALTEC Co-Founder, Chris Barclay. Our focus is on the condition known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as brittle bone disease. This crippling genetic condition results in bones that break easily, as well as severe bone deformity. Our work provides treatment and support for children in China with OI, enabling them to receive treatment and education and ultimately become healthier and more independent, so that they may enjoy a higher quality of life.

ALTEC seeks corporate partners who will match our donations to the Foundation. We commit 5% of all profits from our learning programs toward supporting treatment and education for our "Glass Children". We currently have over 10 children in our care, and more are waiting. Our recent initiative include free surgeries from visiting U.S. doctors, which we will offer again in 2007. This project needs corporate sponsors and we look forward to receiving your generous support.
